The Maryland Zoo of Baltimore contracted Accomac Events and Catering in celebration of the grand opening of its newly renovated historic Mansion House and, of course, we wanted to share some photos of the event with you.  The Zoo’s focus on conservation and wildlife had for some obvious choices in event design and theme.  Charlene used a variety of natural design elements and textures, including Spanish moss, tree bark and exotic feathers to create visual interest in an exciting and elaborate centerpiece.

The fully assembled centerpiece made quite the statement when placed on the table.  A stunning organic design!

Guests were treated to an assortment of tasty hors d’oeuvres, including grapefruit guacamole with watermelon radish and lemon curd tartlets – perfect for a summertime celebration with their bright, fresh flavors. Just look at those colors!
