Right now, I am at the Catersource Conferene in Las Vegas. It is a wonderful conference for those in the catering industry and it’s been a great experience. I’m really looking forward to implementing a lot of new ideas!  More wedding and event ideas to come on my blog, so stay tuned!

For today’s Wedding Wednesday post I wanted to give a quick tip about the bar at your wedding reception:

In looking ahead to Spring and Summer cocktails, full bars aren’t the norm so much these days, mostly because of associated costs. You can still make a splash with beer, wine and one butlered specialty cocktail. Take a  drink  as simple as the standard Gin  or Vodka and Tonic. Try using an infused gin or vodka with a lime wedge in the bottom of the glass. Add a fresh, edible flower for a big punch of color on top, insert a colorful green straw and voila!

A lot of couples are choosing to cut down on costs by offering wine and beer only. You could also include one specialty cocktail to make a splash!
