You can’t help but notice history’s heavy presence when visiting the Accomac Inn.
Marquis de Lafayette visited these grounds, as did Samuel Adams, General Horatio Gates and Philip Livingston. The Accomac Inn stands on property included in the first land grant on the west bank of the Susquehanna. And the first metal-hulled steam vessel built in the United States took its maiden voyage from Accomac’s shore.
That sense of history is as much a part of the Accomac’s allure as our unsurpassed national reputation for excellence.
