Over the years, the Accomac Inn has received glowing recognition from many quarters.
Most recently we were named Best Restaurant in Central PA magazine’s 2010 Hot List. It is an annual rite, with other awards from the publication including Overall Favorite Special Occasion and Most Outstanding Wine List.
We have been honored with the coveted Gastronomic Award from the International Wine and Food Society. We have been fortunate to receive the Award of Excellence from the Wine Spectator, a distinguished publication, for our outstanding wine list, as well as the Award of Distinction from Wine Enthusiast magazine each year.
For many years now, we have received the DiRoNa Award, which recognizes Distinguished Restaurants of North America. And in 2007, we received the Silver Spoon Award from Susquehanna Style magazine.
We’ve had recipes published in many leading food magazines, including Gourmet, Bon Appetit and Fine Dining. We have also been featured in Colonial Homes and Victoria magazines.
In addition, Accomac Inn recipes have been published in several cookbooks, and we were selected by James Beard to be included in Benson and Hedges 100 Recipes from 100 of the Greatest Restaurants.
James Stroman’s Country Inn Cooking featured us in a cover photo in addition to publishing several recipes. To this date, we still have a recipe in this cookbook, now in its Fourth Edition.
The Inn itself has been recognized with a Top-of-The-Table Award for design excellence from Restaurant/Hospitality magazine and another Top-of-The-Table Award from Restaurant Design magazine.
